UP govt sending financial assistance to migrant labourers through DBT
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led government is taking all steps for the welfare of migrant labourers and workers in state. The government is sending financial assistance in their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and also providing Kits of raw food material in this time of crisis due COVID 19. Almost 35 lakh workers have returned to state due to lockdown trouble.
AIR correspondent reports that while in a program  at Lucknow yesterday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  online transferred  rupees 104 crore 82 lakh through DBT in the accounts of 10 lakh 48 thousand 166 laborers.

Through this financial assistance  Rupees 1000  is being  provided  as maintenance to each worker.
The Chief Minister said  Food kits containing raw food items are also  being provided to the returned workers.  He said So far 14 lakh families have been provided ration kits. The  Action is being taken to constitute a commission for the purpose of providing employment to these workers.

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is continuously working for the welfare of the workers and Atal residential schools are being established in all the divisions of the state to provide level education to their children.
